Sovereign AI Brain 7.0.2

A screen you could enter and not leave now has a way back

Two dead ends, and both of them ours. The Conjunction tab could take you into Collaborate and nothing brought you out. And the reachable check called itself a failure while the repair it had asked for was still running.

Collaborate shows you the way back

Collaborate shows you the way back

From the Conjunction tab, “Boards & pairing” and “Pair a second Centurion” opened the Collaborate screen — and there was no control to return. The tab still read Conjunction while showing Collaborate, so the screen did not match its own label and there was nothing on it to press. A Back to Conjunction control now sits at the top of that screen: the way in is a door, not a trapdoor.

It stops saying it failed while it is still working

It stops saying it failed while it is still working

Pressing “Make this Centurion reachable” restarts the part of the Brain that listens for the other machine. The screen waited 90 seconds and then reported that it was still not reachable — but that restart can legitimately take 210 seconds, because it finishes what it is already doing before it stops. It was announcing a failure mid-repair, and the only advice it had was to ignore it. It now waits past that point, restarts one service at a time rather than racing two, and says what is happening while it happens.

And when it cannot finish, it says what will

And when it cannot finish, it says what will

Your two values are saved whether or not the listener has bound — so the screen now says that plainly, and names the single control that finishes the job, instead of leaving you to be told to disregard a warning. A product should not ask that.

Updating

How to update

One download, one install. No terminal.

  1. 1Sign in and open Account → Get Brain. Your download sits at the top of the page.
  2. 2Double-click the downloaded file and choose Install. Fedora may ask for your password — that prompt is your computer, not us.
  3. 3Reopen Sovereign AI Brain. It sets its own services up and starts them. Nothing else to run.
  4. 4Check the download first if you like: the sha256 above is the exact file we published.

Signed with Centurion’s release key. No reboot is needed — reopening the Brain is enough. Your data, your Soul and your sessions are untouched by this update.

Verification

Before you install

Fedora’s Software app labels anything it does not recognise as Provided by a third party. That is a statement about provenance, not about Centurion — every vendor package installed this way is labelled the same. Our builds are signed with Centurion’s release key, and the values below let you check that what arrived is what we published.
